Mental Health Matters: Equipping Our Community to Make a Difference

In today’s world, mental health is just as important as physical health—and yet, it is often overlooked. At House of Distinguished Gentlemen, Inc., we are committed to changing that narrative by empowering our community with the knowledge, compassion, and tools needed to support one another.

Our Mental Health First Aid Training is more than just a course—it’s a movement toward awareness, understanding, and action. Designed for those who work with youth ages 12–18, this training equips participants with the ability to recognize the signs of mental health challenges, engage in meaningful conversations, and confidently step in when help is needed most.

This full-day, 8-hour certification course provides practical, real-world guidance on how to support young people facing mental health or substance use challenges. Participants will walk away not only with valuable knowledge, but with the confidence to make a real impact in the lives of others.

This initiative reflects our continued mission to strengthen individuals and communities. By bringing people together in a supportive learning environment—and even providing meals to encourage connection—we are building a network of informed, compassionate leaders ready to serve.
